Drama · 2 actors

Walt, a retired electrical engineer, is running routine frequency checks on his amateur radio when he picks up a distress call from 1943. The voice is clear. The woman is real. She has six people in the field and no contact with base command. Walt has no way to help her and cannot stop talking to her. They talk for forty minutes, in the most honest conversation either of them has ever had about being afraid.
