Ghosted

On a school courtyard bench, Sierra confronts her best friend Jada after eleven days of unexplained silence, notebook in hand, convinced she must have done something wrong. Jada reveals her parents are separating, and that she went quiet not out of anger but because she didn’t know how to explain what she was going through. The two navigate the gap between what silence meant and what it felt like, and choose to sit together in the uncertainty.
