The Seance

Drama · 3 actors

In the candlelit Red Room of the White House during the winter of 1863, Mary Todd Lincoln arranges a seance with young medium Nettie Colburn, hoping to reach the couple’s late son, Willie. Abraham, weary and skeptical, reluctantly joins. As Nettie channels what seems to be Willie’s voice, the encounter deepens into a message that speaks not to Mary’s grief but to Abraham’s duty, urging him to endure and finish the work before him.
