TEN-MINUTE
Burn Your Socks
At the Annapolis Maritime Museum’s nineteenth annual sock-burning, a beloved and slightly ridiculous ritual marking the start of sailing season, newly relocated Devlin is determined to do the ceremony right. He is not, however, doing it correctly, and when Harbor Master Kowalski arrives to discover his late daughter’s socks have been mistakenly thrown into the fire, a comic evening tips suddenly into something much more tender. BURN YOUR SOCKS is a ten-minute comedy about the small, invented traditions people build to survive the winter, and about what happens when a stranger’s honest apology turns out to be exactly the right thing to say.
