Robot Night

At a converted Detroit warehouse billed as the first night of a new robot combat league, promoter Marcus and his crew scramble when the two nine-foot fighting robots malfunction: one frozen in a passive holding state, the other driving determinedly toward a Taco Bell. With a paying audience watching, and one true believer in the front row demanding the fight he paid for, the team improvises its way toward something that might, against all odds, actually work.
