TEN-MINUTE
The Audition
Community theater restroom during open auditions. Harsh fluorescent lights, echo-prone tiles, and a one-stall door hanging crooked. A small window shows the parking lot. Muffled sounds through walls: piano scales, vocal warmups, occasional bursts of dialogue. A bulletin board with old show posters peeling off.
