TEN-MINUTE
The Possum in Aisle Three
Set in an Australian airport gift shop, the play unfolds as a quietly absurd workplace crisis: a live brushtail possum has been sitting among the store’s plush animal display for four and a half days, and no one addressed it sooner. As staff, police, a wildlife removal expert, and a perceptive tourist converge on Aisle Three, the play blends dry humor with sharp observational wit, exploring perception, institutional inertia, and the absurd ways people rationalize what they fail to see truly.
