TEN-MINUTE
The Trophy Case
Two sixteen-year-olds serving Friday afternoon detention notice an unusual trophy in the hallway display case, different in shape from all the sports trophies around it. While their teacher dozes at the front of the room, one of them slips out to read the forgotten inscription, and what they find reframes how they see themselves and each other.
